Description
Hennepin Healthcare is hiring a Hospital Billing Coding Manager to lead the hospital billing coding department and ensure coding accuracy, timeliness, reimbursement, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role oversees medical record documentation, archiving, audits, reporting, staffing, budgeting, hiring, performance management, policy development, and compliance with HIPAA, The Joint Commission, CMS, and payer requirements. It also supports Epic and 3M Coding Reimbursement system enhancements and serves as a coding subject-matter expert. The position is remote, requires a bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare administration, health information management, or health information technology, and at least three years of healthcare management experience with supervisory or management responsibilities.
