Description
The Coding Provider Liaison (Professional Coding Auditor & Educator) reviews clinical documentation and care to ensure accurate charge capture, CPT and ICD-10 coding, utilization, severity, outcomes, quality, and compliant reimbursement. The role educates physicians and healthcare staff on government and payer regulations, collaborates with the Coding Supervisor on high-risk documentation, corrects coding errors, and meets daily production standards. It requires a high school diploma or equivalent, active CPC or CCS certification, at least three years of hands-on auditing experience, professional billing experience in urgent care or a multi-specialty environment, and experience educating providers on documentation and coding requirements.
