Description
The Coil Prep Operator performs heavy assembly and processing of transformer coil windings, including upending, aligning, inspecting, sizing, oil impregnation, and final delivery of Medium Power, Large Power, and Extra High Voltage coils. The role uses Dake coil presses, Iso-Static Press pallets, vapor-phase chambers, forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment, while following technical drawings, bills of materials, safety procedures, and quality inspections. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong mechanical aptitude, physical ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work on feet for seven hours or more, and may benefit from prior coil winding, heavy mechanical, manufacturing, or power equipment experience.
