Description

Jefferies is hiring a Collateral Associate in Jersey City to perform daily collateral management operations for OTC swaps, repo finance, and TBA-covered agency transactions. The role includes issuing collateral calls, processing anticipated counterparty collateral demands, initiating collateral transfers, handling month-end collateral interest, and conducting portfolio reconciliations in line with Jefferies policies, CFTC and SEC requirements, and ISDA best practices. Experience with derivatives products and collateral platforms is desired.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: Prior understanding or experience in collateral management operations.
Exposure to OTC derivatives, including foreign exchange, FX options, interest rate swaps, credit default swaps, credit default indices, total return swaps, equity swaps, and OTC equity options.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with SmartStream TLM Collateral, AcadiaSoft, TriOptima triResolve, or Broadridge.
Teamwork, adaptability in a fast-paced environment, and strong customer service.
Strong interpersonal and computer skills.
