Citizens is hiring a Collections and Recovery Specialist to collect payments from individuals and businesses with outstanding debt, support loss mitigation, and improve the organization’s financial health. The role involves managing inbound and outbound calls, negotiating resolutions, assessing customer financial situations, tracking offset debits, maintaining work packages, and documenting transactions. Candidates need strong communication, listening, negotiation, organizational, and teamwork skills; a high school diploma or equivalent and familiarity with AFS, TSYS, Mainframe, Relay, and Debt Manager are preferred. The position pays $22.00 per hour, requires 40 hours per week, and involves five days in the office.
