Evernorth is seeking a Collections Specialist to join their Patient Billing and Reimbursement team. This role focuses on improving reimbursement outcomes, resolving billing challenges, and strengthening patient accounts. Responsibilities include investigating denials, submitting payer appeals, analyzing accounts receivable, partnering with various stakeholders, documenting activities, reviewing claims, correcting reprocessed claims, interpreting EOBs, and optimizing payment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft 365.
