Description

The Ohio Department of Public Safety is hiring a Visual Communications Intern in Columbus, Ohio. The ongoing internship is based at 1970 West Broad Street and may run throughout the school year and summer for an average of 20 hours per week or less. The intern will design brochures, manuals, posters, flyers, and other printed materials using Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; prepare production-ready files; maintain a digital asset library; perform basic photo retouching and color correction; and assist with framing, printing, and laminating. Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, in good standing, maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA, be enrolled in at least one course, and be pursuing or finishing a degree. Undergraduate and graduate students may be paid $16.93 and $20.59 per hour, respectively.
