Description
Southwest Tennessee Community College is hiring a College Work Study Program (DREAM Peer Mentor) to support new and returning students through campus-resource guidance, encouragement to persist in their programs, academic mentoring, role modeling, and confidential peer communication. The student worker must be a registered student approved for Federal Work Study, have completed at least 12 semester hours with a 2.75 GPA, be available for 10 hours per week, and attend Peer Coaching training. The position is based at multiple Southwest Tennessee Community College campuses in Memphis and requires weekly communication with assigned peers plus on-call and small-group support during advising milestones.
