Description
AWS is hiring Colo Physical Security Engineers [Architects] to lead physical security designs for colocation data centers across the Americas Region. The role leads construction drawings and specifications, develops security design standards, communicates with internal and external stakeholders, manages design consultants, and supports implementation of cameras, access control, intrusion detection, fences, gates, and related security systems. Candidates need substantial industrial or commercial engineering, commissioning, physical security, and mission-critical facility experience, along with a related technical degree. The position offers travel of up to 50% and base salaries ranging from $116,800 to $185,000 annually depending on location.
