AWS is hiring a Colocation Data Center Engineer to assess and select colocation facilities, review vendor infrastructure designs, perform risk and availability analyses, investigate failures, ensure regulatory compliance, and validate critical electrical, mechanical, fire suppression, controls, and structural systems. The role requires at least four years of industrial or commercial engineering experience in mission-critical facilities, a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field, and travel to domestic and international data center sites up to 50%. The position is based in Calgary, Canada, with a base salary of CAD 78,700 to 131,500 annually.
