Description
Anne Arundel County Government is hiring a full-time, permanent, safety-sensitive Combination Inspector for its Office of Inspections and Permits. The role inspects residential construction plans, blueprints, and work sites for compliance with building, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical codes; issues violation notices and stop work orders; responds to public and contractor inquiries; investigates complaints; and coordinates with specialized inspectors and supervisors. The position requires high school graduation, at least two years of construction experience including inspection and code enforcement, International Code Council residential combination inspector certification, and a valid non-commercial Class C motor vehicle operator's license.
