Wabtec is hiring a Teardown Engineer to perform analytical teardowns and root-cause investigations on returned locomotive traction motor wheelsets. The role leads teardown workflows, analyzes performance and quality data, supports customer investigations, develops corrective and preventive actions, and collaborates with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to improve product reliability and remanufacturing processes. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with two years of relevant experience or an associate degree with five years of experience, along with analytical, troubleshooting, and quality-system knowledge. The role may require travel up to 10% and offers a base salary of $62,100–$85,300, health, welfare, and retirement benefits, and possible relocation assistance.
