Description
The part-time Command Station Operator works under the Security Supervisor to monitor and respond to alarms, emergencies, security, safety, HVAC, lighting, and access-system activities at the Pennsylvania Convention Center. The role operates the Continuum Building Security and Access System, Siemens life-safety-fire alarm system, and DvTel CCTV system; records and documents incidents; coordinates with police, fire, hospitals, and other emergency services; and maintains command-station equipment and logs. The position requires a high school diploma, public-safety experience is preferred, and includes irregular shift work, weekends, holidays, and up to 8–10 hours of standing or walking daily. Pay is $16.74 per hour.
