Brain Co. is hiring its first in-house deal lawyer to build the company’s legal foundations and support commercial deal-making across government, regulated industries, and major enterprises. The role advises on employment matters, fundraising documents, commercial leases, regulatory issues, and product advisory for legal AI tools, while also supporting strategic partnerships and high-value deals. It reports to the COO, requires a J.D. and active bar membership, and seeks 5–8 years of legal experience combining large-firm and in-house experience. The role is based in San Francisco with flexible location and regular travel.
