Description
The Food and Beverage Cook prepares and cooks meals and substitute items according to recipes, quality, presentation, and food-preparation standards; regulates cooking equipment; handles food storage and garnishing; maintains food logs; monitors food quality and quantity; and communicates menu specials and out-of-stock items to service staff. The role also assists with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating employees, while following safety, security, confidentiality, and company policies.
