The Commis 1 supports the daily operation of an assigned kitchen area, prepares food according to instructions, maintains hygiene and safety standards, monitors equipment, controls costs, and presents meals consistently with guest expectations. The role requires 3–4 years of experience, including at least 18 months in a Commis 2 position, a culinary diploma or short course, and English communication skills. It is based in Dubai and offers a salary of AED 2,300–2,900 plus food allowance, service charge, tips, accommodation, transport, uniforms, health insurance, and an air ticket every two years.
