Accor is hiring a Commis Chef for ibis Mackay, a hotel beside Mackay Airport in North Queensland. The role supports the TurBARlence Tavern, room service, and conference spaces in a fast-paced kitchen, preparing mise en place, maintaining food quality and portion control, managing stock rotation, following food-safety and kitchen procedures, and assisting other kitchen areas. Candidates need previous chef experience, relevant cookery or trade qualifications, experience in a busy high-volume kitchen, strong food-safety and HACCP knowledge, flexibility for early mornings, weekends, and public holidays, and full working rights in Australia.
