Description
Montana State University’s Culinary Services Division is hiring one Cook II for its commissary kitchen to prepare, cook, package, and produce high-volume food products while following recipes, sanitation, portion-control, inventory, and food-safety procedures. The role may lead or train students and temporary staff, assist with recipe development, and perform general kitchen duties during absences or high-volume service. The position pays $25.10 per hour, offers a 1.0 FTE classified contract, and requires high-volume cooking experience, basic staff-leadership experience, customer-service experience, and a four-hour sanitation certification or ability to become certified. The shift is Sunday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with possible additional work during busy periods, and applications were accepted until an adequate applicant pool was established.
