Description
AWS is hiring a Commissioning Engineer to oversee and coordinate multi-discipline design review and commissioning of critical infrastructure for new construction and special projects. The role supports vendors, contractors, and internal teams on electrical, mechanical, power, generator, UPS, HVAC, chilled water, BMS, and EPMS systems; develops test scripts and commissioning documentation; audits safety, environmental, quality, and compliance requirements; and reports on project status and improvements. The position requires at least three years of relevant engineering, installation, or commissioning experience, a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field, NETA or ASHRAE certification or commissioning education, and experience with mission-critical facilities. It involves physical site work, travel of up to 50% of the year, and a base salary of 96,600 to 160,000 USD annually in Herndon, Virginia.
