Description
The Commissioning Engineer will independently commission baling presses and waste disposal systems at the Salem plant before customer delivery. The role includes parameterizing and optimizing machine controls, configuring hydraulic systems and PLC software, conducting function, quality, and safety tests, supporting plant acceptance, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and control issues, and documenting test results and optimizations. Candidates need technical vocational training in industrial electrician, mechatronics, or a similar field, initial machine commissioning experience, and basic PLC, hydraulic, and electrical wiring knowledge.
