Description
KFI Engineers is hiring a Commissioning Engineer III to lead commissioning, retro-commissioning, building performance evaluations, and facility audits across design, construction, and occupancy phases. The role coordinates with owners, design teams, contractors, and facility staff; conducts HVAC, electrical, lighting, life safety, fire protection, plumbing, and building-envelope testing; documents issues and reports; supports Test and Balance and energy analyses; and mentors Performance Group staff. It also supports business development, client relationships, proposals, and practice growth in the Lexington and East Region markets. The position requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent experience, at least 8 years of commissioning or building-systems experience, BAS/DDC knowledge, and a valid driver's license, with up to 25% domestic travel.
