Description
The Commissioning Engineer supports the Commissioning Manager and Principal Commissioning Engineer by preparing home-office deliverables, participating in site walk-downs, punch lists, testing, troubleshooting, and performance testing of mechanical, electrical, and instrument systems, and resolving operational and maintenance issues. The role also develops manuals, spares, consumables, and commissioning procedures; coordinates with project and client teams; supervises support personnel; and collaborates with other engineers. It requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, 3–8 years of oil and gas experience, at least 3 years in a chemical, refinery, or oil and gas process facility, and the ability to travel to international construction sites.
