Description
ABM is hiring an experienced Electrical Distribution Commissioning Technician to install, test, commission, and verify low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, including switchgear, breakers, transformers, protection systems, and microprocessor relays. The role includes functional testing, SCADA and interlock verification, electrical drawing interpretation, test-plan development, documentation, startup and energization support, safety leadership, and mentoring junior technicians. Candidates need hands-on power-distribution commissioning experience, relay and test-equipment proficiency, commissioning-test-planning experience, and strong communication and problem-solving skills; a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or electrical engineering technology is preferred. The base hourly pay range is $50-$65 plus available paid overtime, with a comprehensive benefits package.
