Rising Edge Group is hiring a Commissioning Technologist to perform field testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of primary and secondary medium- to high-voltage substation equipment across transmission infrastructure projects. The role includes protection and control installation, relay and apparatus testing, test equipment operation and calibration, interpreting blueprints and reports, corrective-action recommendations, and supervision and mentoring of junior technicians. It requires an electrical engineering technology diploma or electrical engineering degree, 1–3 years of field testing and commissioning experience, willingness to work rotational out-of-town schedules and adverse conditions, and a valid Class 5 driver’s license. The position is safety-sensitive and includes comprehensive benefits, weekly pay, overtime, travel support, and camp or accommodation arrangements for out-of-town work.
