Description
Rising Edge Group is hiring a Senior Commissioning Technologist to perform field commissioning, acceptance, maintenance, and diagnostic testing of primary and secondary electrical power equipment in medium- to high-voltage transmission substations. The role includes testing circuit breakers, transformers, switches, protection and control relays, SCADA, and control circuits; interpreting electrical prints and test reports; recommending corrective actions; operating specialized test equipment; and mentoring junior technologists. This is a full-time permanent, safety-sensitive field position based locally in Southern Alberta from Calgary or Northern Alberta from Edmonton, with rotational schedules, possible travel, and out-of-town assignments.
