Description
The Commodities Analyst will support a trading desk by combining fundamental, macroeconomic, geopolitical, and Chinese commodity analysis with real-time market intelligence. The role develops trading ideas, monitors supply, demand, inventories, trade flows, regulatory developments, and market catalysts, and uses Python, SQL, and analytics platforms to build data models and research tools. Candidates need at least three years of commodities-focused analytical experience, a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree, strong Chinese market knowledge, Python and SQL proficiency, familiarity with Bloomberg or similar platforms, and fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English.
