Jenoptik is hiring a Commodity Business Manager to begin on 01/01/2027. The role leads strategic suppliers and category strategy for a purchasing category, manages supplier selection and networks, negotiates bundled and strategic contracts, optimizes material costs, manages risk and compliance, and leads strategic buyers and cross-functional category teams. The position requires a master’s or diploma degree in business administration, 5–10 years of strategic procurement or category management experience, fluent German and English, ERP and ideally SAP knowledge, and willingness to travel approximately 20–25%.
