GVW Group is hiring a Commodity Buyer for its Durbanville/Cape Town, South Africa offices. The role manages commodity sourcing, supplier qualification and development, RFQs, commercial negotiations, contracts, cost reduction, supply-chain issue resolution, and supplier performance reporting while collaborating with Engineering and other cross-functional stakeholders. A bachelor’s degree and at least five years of procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply-chain experience are required. The position is full-time and fully on site.
