This role involves managing and optimizing the optical supplier base, focusing on material cost reduction through various strategies like negotiation and value-added value engineering. The individual will define and execute commodity strategies, negotiate contracts, facilitate the adoption of advanced technology in optical component sourcing globally, and act as a liaison between design teams and suppliers. Key responsibilities also include conducting Supplier Business Reviews, participating in audits, and managing supplier partnerships and risks.
