Description
The Commodity Manager leads material strategies for over $100M in annual spend across Vertiv EMEA, developing sourcing and commodity strategies, managing suppliers, negotiating quotations, supporting material shortages, resolving supplier escalations, ensuring compliance, and improving supply chain performance. The role reports to the Director Procurement EMEA and requires a BS/MS in Business Management or Engineering, at least 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, operations, materials, or sales within the electrical industry, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with relevant software.
