Description
The Commodity Manager / Supplier and Component Development Leader will oversee direct-material purchasing, commodity strategy, supplier selection and performance, long-term supply agreements, cost reduction, compliance, and supplier dispute resolution for automotive operations in Torreón. The role manages more than USD 110 million in annual direct-material spend and approximately 400 suppliers, leads direct buyers and cross-functional teams, and supports supplier quality, capacity, delivery, tooling, and component-development projects involving stamping, metal fabrication, molding, and extrusion. It requires a relevant college degree or equivalent experience, significant automotive purchasing and supplier-quality experience, component-development and manufacturing-process expertise, fluent English and Spanish, and knowledge of US contract law and automotive sourcing requirements.
