PKC Group is seeking a Commodity Manager in Torreón, Coahuila, Mexico, to lead direct-material purchasing, supplier sourcing and performance, commodity strategy, cost reduction, supplier/component development, and outsourced-part project execution for automotive manufacturing operations. The role manages more than USD 110 million in annual spend and approximately 400 suppliers, negotiates supply agreements and total landed cost, leads direct buyers and cross-functional teams, supports supplier quality and delivery issues, and ensures environmental, health, safety, energy, ethics, and purchasing compliance. Candidates need a relevant college degree or equivalent experience, at least five years in the automotive industry, purchasing and supplier-quality/component-development experience, expertise in stamping, metal fabrication, molding, and extrusion, fluent English and Spanish, and strong negotiation, leadership, planning, and communication skills.
