Description
This role involves working with the VIPER rover's onboard communication system, focusing on understanding and maintaining reliable communication through direct-to-earth methods via the Deep Space Network (DSN). Key tasks include performing RF compatibility tests, handling crypto key loading, analyzing the impact of low-angle multipath propagation for lunar surface communication, and contributing to test and operations procedures. The candidate will develop and troubleshoot communication systems, manage complex engineering projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
