Description
FirstEnergy is hiring a Communications Engineer to support the architecture, design, implementation, operation, maintenance, and regulatory compliance of RF communication systems, leased-line circuits, field communications, and related telecom infrastructure. The role also supports network and communications documentation, GIS mapping, project delivery, change management, and the reliability of voice, video, and computing services. A bachelor's or associate degree in a relevant engineering or networking field, or related work experience, is required; prior experience with RF test equipment, circuit design, leased services, environmental support systems, telephony, SCADA, and project management is preferred.
