Description
The Communication Systems Engineer will design, cost, implement, and support advanced satellite and terrestrial communication solutions for Telesat’s geostationary and Lightspeed LEO systems. The role combines systems engineering, customer engagement, solution architecture, RF link budgeting, network integration, equipment configuration, vendor coordination, and field troubleshooting, with travel to customer, Telesat, and vendor locations. It requires a relevant bachelor’s degree, GEO satellite experience, LEO familiarity, VSAT and satellite networking expertise, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams and manage contractors.
