Description

Mobile Communications America (MCA) is hiring an experienced Communication Systems Technician for its Voice (MSS) division in Southern Maryland. The role focuses on installing, programming, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing complex two-way radio and LMR communication systems for government and commercial customers, including P25/ASTRO 25, Motorola APX, MOTOTRBO/DMR, VHF/UHF infrastructure, and dispatch consoles. The position requires field service work, preventive maintenance, documentation, customer coordination, mentoring junior technicians, on-call support, and travel, with first shift hours and occasional off-shift/weekend work depending on project needs.

Additional Information

Required Previous Experiences: At least 3 years of technical service or installation experience, preferably 5+ years

Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and follow safety standards
Mentoring and coaching junior technicians
Ability to pass background, drug, and MVR checks
