MCA is hiring a Communication Systems Technician in the Sumter, South Carolina area to install, program, maintain, repair, and upgrade complex mobile communications systems for mission-critical customers. The role includes troubleshooting, electronic circuitry modifications, software and firmware updates, customer and team collaboration, ticket completion, and on-call 27/7 technical support. Candidates need at least two years of mobile communications equipment experience, testing equipment proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings; a two-year degree in electronics, IT, or a related subject, P25 or MotoTRBO experience, and CET certification are preferred. The position involves indoor and outdoor work, travel, and first-shift hours with occasional second- or third-shift and weekend work.
