Virginia Tech’s Department of Biological Systems Engineering is hiring a Communications Coordinator in Blacksburg, Virginia. The role develops, executes, and evaluates the department’s outward-facing communications program, manages the department website and social media, produces written and visual media, leads the semiannual newsletter, and ensures compliance with university brand standards. The position requires experience with social media campaigns, professional writing, photography, and web editing; a BS in communications, marketing, or a related field is preferred. It is a regular, 40-hour appointment with a salary of $45,000–$50,000 and overtime eligibility.
