The Communications Manager, Media and Public Relations will manage communications related to government spending, the economy, and energy issues for Heritage. The role develops media and public relations strategies, creates pitches, news releases, web content, and talking points, builds media relationships, books policy experts for interviews, coordinates messaging across departments, monitors media coverage, and supports policy goals through media. The position requires at least four years of related experience, strong writing and editing skills, Microsoft Suite proficiency, and existing contacts among print reporters and broadcast producers. The salary range is $78,000 to $97,000 annually, with health, vision, dental, retirement, and leave benefits.
