Description
The Family Connects Community Relations Specialist develops, implements, and sustains the Family Connects program in Guilford County’s Public Health Department. The role manages community resources, establishes and maintains partnerships with public and private agencies, coordinates with Community Advisory Boards, consults with nurse home visitors, markets the program to referral sources and community leaders, and identifies gaps in family supports. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in human services or equivalent education and experience, may prefer a master’s degree and two or more years of community-initiative or project-management experience, and requires community travel and driving for county business.
