AbilityFirst is hiring a full-time Community Coach I to support individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving personal goals, building independence, and integrating into the community. The role involves active supervision, person-centered programming, personal care, documentation, community outings, and driving agency vehicles or accompanying participants on public transportation. It is based at the Lawrence L. Frank Center in Pasadena, California, with a Monday–Friday schedule and some weekend work, and pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a bachelor’s degree, relevant experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license are preferred; physical assistance, swimming, communication, and background-check requirements are also specified.
