AbilityFirst is hiring a Community Coach I to provide direct, person-centered support to participants with developmental disabilities at the Lawrence L. Frank Center in Pasadena, California. The role involves supervising participants, implementing individualized activities, facilitating group programs, documenting progress, assisting with personal care, supporting community outings, and driving agency vehicles when approved. The position is listed as full-time with 10–25 hours per week, Monday through Friday with some weekends as needed, and pays $20.00–$22.00 per hour. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, while a bachelor’s degree, relevant experience, Microsoft Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license are preferred; physical assistance, swimming, community activities, and background checks are also required.
