Description
The Community Engagement Specialist coordinates care for members at the Recovery Support Center by providing outreach, education, referrals, and case management support for substance use disorders and related services. The role connects members with treatment programs, community resources, health care providers, task forces, vendors, and peer recovery services; supports enrollment, grant reporting, community events, and internal collaboration; and maintains confidentiality and compliance. It requires a bachelor’s degree or at least three years of human services experience, one year of assessment, advocacy, and case management experience, recovery lived experience, strong communication skills, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a flexible schedule. The position works Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM for 35 hours per week and reports to the Program Director.
