Description
The Community Habilitation Residential Program Support Worker provides personal care and support for people with developmental disabilities across educational, residential, and community settings. The role promotes independence and choice, advocates for participants, helps develop individualized goals, collects data, completes billing documentation, maintains safe environments, and attends team and supervisor meetings. A high school diploma or GED is required, an associate’s degree is preferred, and the position requires a flexible schedule, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and assist with heavier lifting, and the ability to perform physical interventions.
