Harris County Public Health is hiring a full-time Community Health Worker to support outreach, education, community coordination, referrals, data tracking, and public health program engagement. The role works primarily in the field throughout Harris County and also completes office-based tasks, requires a high school diploma, Community Health Worker Certification, bilingual Spanish ability, and experience in community outreach, public health programs, or a related field. The position is based at the Office of Communication, Education & Engagement in Houston, Texas, and may require travel, weekend or evening work, and a criminal history check.
