Description

Pacific Coast Community Resources is hiring a Community Inclusion Worker to support a person with disabilities in participating in personal, social, vocational, and volunteer opportunities. The role advocates for the person’s rights and choices, coordinates community activities, supports family and professional relationships, develops and documents Individual Service Plans, records activity and personal health information, and applies behavior management and mental health principles. The position requires a Grade 12 education, Community Support Worker Diploma or equivalent, at least two years of community social services or health care experience, current Emergency First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certificates, behavior management training, communication skills, a Class 5 driver’s license, criminal record clearance, computer literacy, and eligibility to work in Canada. The role offers on-the-job training, medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a competitive salary of $27.53–$31.57 per hour.
