Description
The Community Mobilizer, Manhattan & Community Initiatives will build trusted relationships with Jewish organizations, community leaders, grassroots groups, and residents across Manhattan; identify local needs; connect communities to UJA programs and resources; mobilize participation in civic engagement, advocacy, bridge-building, and other initiatives; convene stakeholders; and lead community-wide events such as MLK Day programming and the Celebrate Israel Parade. The role also partners with colleagues across New York City, Westchester, and Long Island and manages programs through planning, budgets, timelines, logistics, and follow-through. It requires at least five years of relevant experience, familiarity with Manhattan's Jewish community, strong relationship-building and project-management skills, and cultural fluency across diverse communities.
