Description
The Community Schools Facilitator I will support the implementation of a year-round Community Schools model at a designated Title I school site, partnering with students, families, teachers, staff, and community agencies to improve attendance, behavior, wellness, and on-time graduation. The role includes in-home visits, family engagement activities, recruitment for school councils and advisory committees, and implementation of the California Community Schools Partnership Program requirements. The position requires at least two years of community engagement experience in culturally diverse communities, a high school diploma or equivalent, and willingness to work weekends and evenings; bilingual and bicultural ability and strong communication and conflict-resolution skills are preferred.
