arc programs is hiring a part-time Community Support Worker based out of the Nakusp Office to provide outreach and community support to adults with diversabilities, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder or Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder. The role involves independent work in clients’ homes and the community, delivering behaviour intervention, consultation, education, recreation, counseling, and support services, while also working with families and caregivers. Applicants need a valid British Columbia driver’s license, regional insurance, a reliable personal vehicle, and must pass a criminal record search; a relevant diploma or certificate and experience supporting individuals with complex developmental behavioural conditions are preferred. Compensation is $25.90–$30.00 per hour, with potential benefits after a trial period for applicants working 20 hours or more consistently.
