Category Labs is hiring a Compiler Engineer to research and build greenfield systems that accelerate EVM bytecode execution, including a bytecode execution graph builder for speculative pre-execution of control-flow paths. The role requires compiler design and system architecture experience, industry-standard compiler technologies, testing and benchmarking knowledge, parallel-architecture compiler experience, and strong C++ skills; type theory is a plus. The position offers a base salary of $180,000–$250,000 across US locations, plus equity and benefits.
